The latest addition to our Malabrigo yarn range is the Silkpaca. This yarn is 70% baby alpaca and 30% silk, which makes it 100% luscious. Use it to create light-as-a-feather shawls and wraps that float around your shoulders. Despite being the thinnest yarn, it is plied and sturdy, which is perfect for lace projects. Available in an array of unbelievably vibrant hand-dyed colourways that combine a myriad of shades so that every project you knit will be unique.
Be sure to get enough Yarn to complete your project since each bag is a different dye lot, and skeins may vary from bag to bag. Skeins may vary one from the other even within the same bag. To ensure random colour distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.
When these yarns are dyed, the same formula is used each time but every batch of yarn is assigned a different dye lot number. The differences from one dye lot to another can be very subtle, or extremely noticable, specially on variegated yarns. The colours shown are illustrated as reference, as mentioned above, they can differ on more or less of one tone, due to the hand-dye process.
