High Street by Mary Hickmott Cross Stitch Pattern

Here is nostalgia! There are many of us who remember when every village and town had a street like this. Each shop was owned by a specialist in whatever it was that was being sold and their produce was of the highest order. People on the streets stopped and chatted or went into the cafe for a coffee perhaps. I miss those days but youngsters are likely to see this as a history lesson. Whichever view point is taken, a high street is a happy place to be.
