Betweens

Short and with a slightly rounded eye, they are ideal for patchworks or tight fabrics. The between needles are ideal for quilting, a technique associated with patchwork. They will make padding work easier for you, amongst other things. The needle does not have to be long, as the technique is not the same as with a standard stitch: the needle is pushed horizontally into the fabric with very little space between the stitches.
