The Kaffe class and lecture are now behind us it seems we have been planning and organising the events for some time, I am sure those of you who came to the lecture came away feelling very inspired. Kaffe is such a good speaker. We have had lots of positive feedback from the class which is always wonderful and now are looking forward to seeing your finished quilts.

And of course no visit to Wellington is complete without a visit to the Weta studio.

Waitangi Day saw us all pop into the shop for a couple of hours as we had a visit from a group of Quilters on a Quilting Cruise around New Zealand.  They were having a lot of fun even free motion quilting on the trip over to New Zealand from Australia.
 

Now back to business and there have been quite a few new fabrics come into the shop 

Two new William Morris ranges of William Morris fabric "Morris & Co Kelmscott and Victoria and Albert Museum for Moda
For the cat lovers very realistic cats "Cats the way I like it" by Skipping Stones Studio.
Treasure Hunt by Marcia Derse for Windham fabrics which include a panel and coordinating fabrics.
