Busy Bee Quilt Shop offers an in-shop, professional quilting service on our four Gammill Classic commercial quilting machines. Your quilts are in good hands with Sue Burnett, who is an internationally trained and award winning machine quilter with over 20 years experience.

-Pantograph (an edge to edge repeating pattern) $3.50
-Custom Freehand $6.00
-Cross hatching from $5.00
-Custom Blockwork from $5.00
-Basting $1.00
Choose from over 15,000 pattern designs, including Sharon Perry’s House of Creations, Kim Diamond’s Designer and Heritage collections, and Tammy Finkler’s Collections 1-10. Don’t worry though, we can help you find a pattern that will compliment your quilt design.
We also have NZ’s largest selection of wide backer fabrics (more than 300 in stock) and a variety of quality batting to choose from.
Our machines can stitch quilts up to 125” (3.2m) in width. Backing and batting needs to be at least 3 to 4” wider on all four sides than your quilt top. There is no need for you to pin or tack your quilt. Please ensure the top and backing are square and that there is no extra fabric in your borders.
We can courier your quilt back to you if you want to post it down to us, just include a note of what you would like quilted with your contact details.
